The
O'Neill Foundation for Community Health strives to work with
religious congregations, health care organizations, and community
agencies to provide the resources people need to maintain
their own health and to care for the sick and disabled.
The Foundations
goals are to:
- Provide training
programs and ongoing support for clergy and members of religious
congregations who are interested in developing health ministries.
- Produce educational
materials and other resources that can be used by clergy,
parish/faith community nurses, and volunteer health ministry
coordinators to address the health needs of their congregations
and communities, and
- Facilitate collaboration
between religious institutions and medical organizations.
