W. Daniel
Hale, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in clinical psychology at
the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. He joined the faculty
of Stetson University in 1979, where he now serves as Professor
of Psychology and Director of the Community Health Initiative.
He is the author of two books - Building Healthy Communities
through Medical-Religious Partnerships (Hale and Bennett,
Johns Hopkins University Press, 2000) and Healing Bodies
and Souls: A Practical Guide for Congregations (Hale and
Koenig, Fortress PRess, 2003) - and numerous articles on mood
disorders, aging, and chronic illnesses. He is a member of First
Presbyterian Church, DeLand where he helps teach one of the
adult Sunday school classes. |
